About McShane Engineering
The founder of McShane Engineering Incorporated (MEI), Shane McShane, trained in the Canadian Armed Forces and worked as an Aero Engine Technician from 1986 to 1992, working on the Chinook and Lab-Voyager helicopters and Hercules and Buffalo transport aircraft. He then attended Ryerson University studying mechanical engineering where he also worked for the engineering department developing R&D prototypes from 1993 to 1997. He started his engineering career as Project & Marketing Manager for Rolls Royce (ODIM) from 1997 to 2000, and as Project Engineer for Quaker Oats from 2000 to 2003.
McShane Engineering Inc. was formed in 2003 and began offering professional engineering and drafting services to numerous industrial and commercial companies including PepsiCo, General Electric, Ontario Power Generation, Unimin Mines and Peterborough Housing. The company has since expanded and focuses mainly in the area of health and safety including:
